Factrika, an on-demand industrial workforce platform, has raised Rs 8.9 crore in seed funding led by Info Edge. The round was announced on September 17, 2026.
Factrika will use the money to grow its team, build its technology and enter more industrial clusters across India. The Delhi-based startup was founded in July 2024 by Kshitij Puri and Gaurav Asthana.
It runs a real-time platform that connects factories with verified workers by skill and availability. Factrika says it can deploy a worker within two hours.
The platform now has over 10,000 registered workers across more than 20 skill categories. Its show rate is above 90%, the company said. Clients include Lenskart, Asahi India Glass and Jubilant Foodworks.
Info Edge is the parent of Naukri.com and 99acres. The deal gives it an early stake in India’s factory hiring market. Hitesh Oberoi, managing director and chief executive of Info Edge, backed the founders.
Factrika solves deep use cases in Indian manufacturing recruitment, Oberoi said.
The startup points to a real gap on the factory floor. Indian factories face a daily worker shortage of about 20% to 25%, according to Factrika. Fragmented contractor-led staffing adds to the problem.
Factrika will first deepen its presence in five clusters: Bhiwadi, Manesar, Bawal, Noida and Bahadurgarh. It is targeting what it estimates as a $23 billion manufacturing workforce market in India.
The company says its model lifts worker earnings by 20% to 30% through skill progression. That is the number to watch.
What this means for you: If you run a factory in the Delhi-NCR belt, there is now a funded, tech-led option for filling shifts fast, worth testing against your current contractor.
