StartupFeed Quick Take

  • Dispatch Network raised Rs 5 Cr in a pre-seed round led by Antler India, announced on November 2, 2026.
  • Monthly deliveries rose from 3,014 in June 2026 to 55,000 in October 2026.
  • Mumbai launches in November 2026, and the target is 50,000 orders a day across five cities.

Pune’s Dispatch Network has raised Rs 5 Cr in a pre-seed round led by Antler India, the company said on November 2, 2026.

Angel investors Krishi Fagwani, who founded Thrive, Yashin Mahadevia and Parth Modwadhia also joined the round. Dispatch Network’s statement of November 2 puts monthly deliveries at 3,014 in June 2026 and 55,000 in October 2026.

That is an 18-fold rise in four months, and more than 100,000 deliveries in all since June. The network now runs about 3,500 deliveries a day, against roughly 100 a day in June 2026.

Its stated target is 50,000 orders a day across five cities, with Mumbai due this month. That is about 14 times today’s rate.

Dispatch Network Came From an E-Scooter Plan

Dispatch began as an electric vehicle maker. Rajit Arya and Navneeth Kannan started it in March 2020, after working together at a mobility firm called Artem. In April 2022 Dispatch said its purpose-built delivery e-scooter would reach buyers by the first quarter of 2023.

The operating company, Artem Network Private Limited, was registered on September 16, 2021 in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Its record at the Ministry of Corporate Affairs still lists machinery making as the main business activity. Paid-up capital is Rs 1.22 lakh.

What the Numbers Show

Dispatch Network says its model has cut empty kilometres, the distance a rider covers with no order, by two-thirds. Riders on the network earn about 55% more a month than the industry average, and stay 80% longer. It did not publish the baseline.

Five platforms use it: Zomato, Swiggy, Zepto, Instamart and BigBasket. It also serves hundreds of restaurants and stores through direct software links and ONDC. That is the government-backed Open Network for Digital Commerce.

October’s 55,000 deliveries work out to about 1,774 a day across the month. The current rate of 3,500 a day is nearly double that.

Pune has been the training ground. Mumbai is the test.

Navneeth Kannan, who leads product and AI at Dispatch Network, put it this way:

“We’re building the decision layer for last-mile delivery: which order, which rider.”

Navneeth Kannan, co-founder and head of product and AI, Dispatch Network. From the company statement, November 2, 2026.

What this means for you: If you run rider supply for a quick-commerce or food delivery brand in Pune or Mumbai, Dispatch Network is now a funded option. Ask for its Pune cost per delivery before Mumbai goes live this month, while it is still buying volume at 3,500 orders a day.
