Delhivery shares jumped 9.7% on November 2 after the Gurugram firm swung to a quarterly profit and topped Rs 3,000 crore revenue.
The net profit was Rs 40.6 crore in the quarter ended September 2026. A year earlier the firm lost Rs 50.5 crore. Delhivery reported the numbers in its stock exchange filing on October 30.
The swing is flattered by the Ecom Express acquisition, which weighed on the year-ago base. The base year was not clean. Without it, Delhivery said profit would have been Rs 59 crore a year ago, and Rs 62 crore last quarter.
Why Delhivery shares jumped
Investors read the quarter as proof of durable profit, not a one-off. Delhivery shares had closed at Rs 386 on October 30. They touched Rs 423.35 on the BSE on November 2, up 9.7%, lifting the firm’s market value to about Rs 31,135 crore.
Equirus Securities upgraded the stock to ‘Long’ and set a target of Rs 505, a 30.8% upside on the previous close.
The Q2 FY27 numbers
Revenue from services was Rs 3,066.4 crore, up 19.8% from Rs 2,559.3 crore a year earlier. That is 4.6% higher than the June quarter, and the first time Delhivery has crossed Rs 3,000 crore in three months.
Reported EBITDA nearly tripled to about Rs 205 crore. Express parcel volumes rose 32.1% to 325 million shipments. Volumes carried the quarter.
| Metric | Q2 FY27 | Q2 FY26 |
|---|---|---|
| Revenue from services | Rs 3,066.4 Cr | Rs 2,559.3 Cr |
| Total income | Rs 3,133 Cr | Rs 2,651.5 Cr |
| Net profit / (loss) | Rs 40.6 Cr | (Rs 50.5 Cr) |
| Adjusted EBITDA | Rs 123 Cr | Rs 83 Cr |
What this means for you: If you hold Delhivery stock or ESOPs, the quarter shows the firm can earn an operating profit at scale, not one-off gains. Watch the FY27 margin goals, express EBITDA of 16 to 18% and PTL above 15%, to see if the profit holds.
