InstaAstro has raised $12 Mn in a Series A round led by Singularity AMC and Artha Venture Fund, with the company’s founders also joining in.

The round is the astrology platform’s largest yet. It comes more than two years after a Rs 18.5 crore pre-Series A round, also led by Artha Venture Fund, according to Entrackr.

InstaAstro was founded in 2021 by Nitin Verma. It started as an astrology consultation app.

The platform now covers astrology, tarot, numerology, vastu, Pooja Seva and spiritual commerce. It claims 12 Mn registered users and more than 5,000 verified experts.

Those experts serve users across 183 countries, InstaAstro said. International markets, driven mostly by the Indian diaspora, bring in about 25% of revenue.

The company’s numbers have climbed fast. Operating revenue rose 113% to Rs 111 crore in FY26, up from Rs 52 crore in FY25, Inc42 reported.

InstaAstro says its annualised revenue has now crossed Rs 200 crore. It did not disclose any profit or loss figure for FY26.

The fresh money will fund three things. InstaAstro plans to expand in regional and international markets, grow its Pooja Seva business, and build AI tools.

One AI feature reads a user’s mood before a consultation. InstaAstro also wants wider multilingual support so astrologers can advise clients in more languages.

What this means for you: India’s faith-tech sector, the business of astrology, pooja and spiritual commerce online, now has a second funded scale player chasing Astrotalk, so founders here can point to two live funding benchmarks when they pitch.
