The IIT Roorkee campus ambassador listing offers four rewards: a delegate pass, merch, a certificate and a chance at a recommendation letter. No stipend appears among them.
The network is bigger than the rewards suggest. Campus ambassadors covered more than 600 colleges for E-Summit 2023, the edition that drew over 2,400 participants.
That 2023 edition recorded more than 10,000 footfall across three days. A 2024 PIB release called E-Summit North India’s largest business conclave.
What the IIT Roorkee Campus Ambassador Role Asks For
Outreach, mostly. Ambassadors represent E-Summit on their own campus, run promotion, push sign-ups and ticket sales, and work with student bodies to lift turnout.
Any student enrolled at a recognised university or institution can apply, inside or outside the IIT system. Entries run through Unstop, the campus hiring platform, rather than through the E-Summit site itself.
How E-Summit Has Scaled Since 2006
E-Cell IIT Roorkee started in 2006 and runs the fest from the SAC Building on campus. E-Summit 2024 was the 19th edition, held February 2 to 4. The 2026 edition ran February 6 to 8.

E-Summit 2027 dates are not yet published. E-Cell has not announced a 2027 window, so ambassadors would be promoting a fest without a date.
What this means for you: If you are a college student outside IIT Roorkee who wants a free delegate pass and a line on your CV, this is open now. Check the Unstop listing for the closing date before you commit, because E-Cell has not published the E-Summit 2027 dates you would be promoting.
