InstaHelp crosses 1 lakh delivered orders in a single day, Urban Company said on August 2, 2026, marking a sharp jump for its quick-service home-help vertical. The company reported the count at 5:54 pm, with the final daily figure expected to be higher.
The milestone came just five months after InstaHelp crossed 50,000 daily orders. It arrives as the wider instant home-help category booms in India, with rival Snabbit scaling fast on the back of a fresh $56 Mn (Rs 534 Cr) Series D round. Both platforms are chasing the same busy urban households.

The real story is not the order count, it is the unit economics behind it. Urban Company grew InstaHelp fast by spending hard on discounts and supply, and its Net Transaction Value in the December quarter was just Rs 28 Cr against a Rs 61 Cr segment loss. Investors and rival founders should watch Average Order Values, not headline volumes, because that single number decides who survives. StartupFeed expects at least one of the top three quick-service players to raise or narrow its discounts before December 2026, once the cost of buying growth at Rs 29 a booking becomes too heavy to sustain. The Milestone in Numbers
InstaHelp crossed 100,000 delivered orders in a single day on Sunday, August 2, 2026, according to Urban Company. The company said the 1 lakh mark was hit at 5:54 pm, and that the final count for the day would be higher. This was reached barely five months after the platform passed 50,000 daily orders.
The vertical has scaled quickly across metro markets. In the December quarter, InstaHelp clocked 1.61 million orders, a 170% rise over the prior quarter, Urban Company reported. That growth, though, came with rising costs.
| Metric | Detail | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Single-day orders | 1,00,000+ | Recorded on August 2, 2026 at 5:54 pm |
| Previous milestone | 50,000 daily orders | Crossed about five months earlier |
| Dec quarter orders | 1.61 million | +170% sequentially (Urban Company) |
| Dec quarter NTV | Rs 28 Cr | More than double the prior quarter |
| Dec quarter loss | Rs 61 Cr | Widened from Rs 44 Cr sequentially |
| Launch | Pilot, Mumbai, March 2025 | Now in select metro micro-markets |
The clearest takeaway is the gap between volume and value. Orders are climbing fast, but Net Transaction Value (NTV, the total value of transactions on the platform) and segment losses show growth is still being bought, not earned.
About InstaHelp
InstaHelp is the quick-service housekeeping vertical of Urban Companyf Limited, the Gurgaon-based home services platform founded in 2014 by Abhiraj Singh Bhal, Varun Khaitan, and Raghav Chandra. Launched as a Mumbai pilot in March 2025, InstaHelp sends trained workers for cleaning, dishwashing, laundry, and meal prep within minutes of a booking. Urban Company listed on the NSE and BSE in September 2025.
Why Have Prices Fallen to Rs 29?
Prices have fallen because both InstaHelp and Snabbit are spending heavily on discounts to win first-time users in a young, fast-growing category. Screenshots showed InstaHelp offering 30 minutes of standard housekeeping and one hour of cross-hour bookings priced at Rs 29 at checkout, a discount of up to 88% off regular rates.
As we scale, Net Transaction Value and contribution per order remain the metrics we hold ourselves to, because they reflect the true, durable health of the business, said Abhiraj Singh Bhal, CEO and Co-founder of Urban Company.
That comment signals the tension at the heart of this boom. Deep discounts pull in orders and grab share, but they also widen losses. Urban Company has said InstaHelp could reach breakeven once Average Order Values rise to roughly 1.8x to 2x current levels.
How Does Snabbit Compare?
Snabbit is Urban Company’s closest challenger in the quick home-help race, and it is scaling just as fast. The Bengaluru-based startup, founded in 2024 by former Zepto executive Aayush Agarwal, has grown from about 400 daily orders to 40,000 in under a year, according to TechCrunch’s reporting on the sector. In late April 2026, Snabbit closed a $56 Mn (Rs 534 Cr) Series D round led by Susquehanna Venture Capital, pushing total funding to $112 Mn.
| Dimension | InstaHelp (Urban Company) | Snabbit |
|---|---|---|
| Parent founded | 2014 | 2024 |
| Daily orders | 1,00,000+ (single day) | About 40,000 |
| Latest funding status | Public, listed Sept 2025 | $56 Mn Series D, closed Apr 2026 |
What sets InstaHelp apart is scale and the backing of India’s largest home-services brand, with 6.8 million transacting users. Snabbit’s edge is its all-women expert fleet and a first-mover position in the instant format.
What’s Next
The next test is margins, not milestones. Urban Company aims to lift Average Order Values toward breakeven levels while holding order growth, and Snabbit plans to deepen its presence in existing cities and add new service categories with its fresh capital. Expect discounting to ease as both chase sustainable unit economics. Will the Rs 29 booking survive into 2027, or is it a launch-phase promo that quietly disappears?
