1. ixigo Reports Record ₹63.42 Crore Profit in Q2 FY27

Travel technology company ixigo reported a record net profit of ₹63.42 crore for the July–September quarter of FY27. Revenue from operations increased 13% year-on-year to ₹320.96 crore, while gross transaction value rose 22% to ₹5,304.47 crore. The company said its hotel business is emerging as a key growth driver, alongside flights and buses. The profit was partly supported by the sale of a stake in bus operator FreshBus.

2. UPDATE: Snabbit’s FY26 Loss Reaches ₹167.75 Crore

Instant house-help startup Snabbit reported a net loss of ₹167.75 crore in FY26, against operating revenue of about ₹12.25 crore. Separately, founder Aayush Agarwal said the company’s loss per job fell below ₹200 in the previous month, compared with around ₹1,500 at the beginning of FY26. The founder’s unit-economics update is the key angle for this follow-up; the annual financial figures alone are not a new Sunday development.

3. UPDATE: Urban Company Approves Fundraise of Up to ₹2,500 Crore

Urban Company’s board approved a fundraising plan of up to ₹2,500 crore on 16 October. The company is also exploring the residential air-conditioning category under its Native brand, subject to the required approvals. The potential expansion could give the home-services platform another category in which to grow its business. The fundraising approval and AC plans should be described as proposals, not as completed fundraising or a launched product.

4. Burma Burma Operator Hunger Pangs Files IPO Draft

Hunger Pangs, the company operating Burma Burma Restaurant & Tea Room, has filed draft IPO papers with SEBI. The proposed offer includes a fresh issue of up to ₹150 crore and an offer for sale of up to 2.79 crore shares by existing shareholders. The company plans to use the fresh-issue proceeds mainly to open new restaurants and for general corporate purposes. It reported FY26 operating revenue of ₹155.50 crore, up 46.56% from the previous year.

5. Kitchen Secret Raises ₹1.14 Crore in Seed Funding

Ready-to-cook and ready-to-eat sauce brand Kitchen Secret raised ₹1.14 crore in its first external funding round, led by BeyondSeed, with participation from angel investors. The company plans to use the capital for marketing, inventory, broader quick-commerce distribution and business-to-business operations. Founded by Renuka Kedia and Manav Kedia, the brand says it has sold more than one lakh jars and is present in over 500 Blinkit dark stores.
