- Robert Godinho became the third co-founder of Spectacom Global on October 19, 2026
- Revenue was about Rs 15 crore in FY25, down about 2% from the year before
- Registered on January 10, 2020, though its Devils Circuit race began in 2012
Gurugram-based Spectacom Global, which owns the Devils Circuit obstacle race, made Robert Godinho its third co-founder on October 19, 2026.
In the year to March 31, 2025, Spectacom Global Private Limited earned about Rs 15 crore. Revenue fell about 2% over the previous year.
MCA records show Spectacom Global Private Limited was registered on January 10, 2020. The announcement of October 19 describes 14 years of work. Those 14 years belong to Devils Circuit, which began in 2012.
Godinho has joined a six-year-old company, not a 14-year-old one. Those same records list Adnan Adeeb and Zeba Zaidi as the two directors of the Gurugram firm. They predate the appointment, so Godinho does not appear in them.
Godinho was most recently managing director of Monks India, part of the S4Capital group. He built and sold WhiteBalance, a production firm S4Capital bought in 2019.
Godinho put it this way:
“There is nothing more exhilarating than seeing ordinary people achieving extraordinary feats.”
Robert Godinho, co-founder, Spectacom Global. From the company statement, October 19, 2026.
Paid-up capital at Spectacom Global stands at Rs 15.71 crore, close to the Rs 16.55 crore ceiling it is allowed to issue. So the owners have put in slightly more money than Spectacom Global earns in a full year.
A pre-Series A round in May 2023 brought Spectacom Global Rs 11 crore. Rainmatter Health, an arm of the Zerodha founders, put in that money.
Airtel Digital also holds shares. So does Umang Bedi, who co-founded the news app Dailyhunt.
What Spectacom Global Sells
Spectacom Global runs paid mass-participation races and the software behind them. Devils Circuit is the biggest of these. It is a 5 km course with 15 military-style obstacles, first run in 2012.
The race has completed more than 82 editions, which works out to about six a year. Runners from over 50 countries have taken part, and the race runs in three grades. Spectacom Global also runs The Yoddha Race.
Four race properties and two software products sit under one roof. One is BunkerFit, a health and wellness app. The other is getmybib.com, built for sports event ticketing.
Across its properties, Spectacom Global counts more than a million finishers in 12 or more Indian cities.
Neither side has said what Godinho is paid or what share of Spectacom Global he holds.
What this means for you: If you are a founder adding a senior operator as a co-founder, check what that title carries in your cap table. Ask whether the person gets founder shares or stock options, and put the answer in a board resolution before you announce.
