StartupFeed Quick Take

  • The Paramotor IPO is a Rs 1,000 crore mainboard issue, filed as an updated draft on October 14.
  • It splits into Rs 698 crore of fresh shares and up to Rs 302 crore sold by two promoters.
  • No price band or dates are set yet; both come with the final prospectus.

Mumbai fintech Paramotor Digital Technology filed updated draft papers with SEBI on October 14 for a Rs 1,000 crore share sale.

The updated draft prospectus puts Rs 698 crore in fresh shares and up to Rs 302 crore in a promoter sale.

The fresh money is new capital. The promoter sale is cash. It goes to the founders, not the business.

Executive Chairperson Sonia Asher and Managing Director Rahul Anand are the sellers. Each will sell shares worth up to Rs 151 crore.

Where the Paramotor IPO Money Goes

Most of the fresh money will go towards growth, not the bottom line. Paramotor plans to spend Rs 355 crore on finding and keeping customers.

Where the fresh money goesAmount
Customer acquisition, retention, brandingRs 355 Cr
Technology, cloud and IT assetsRs 94 Cr
Office infrastructureRs 38 Cr
General corporate purposesThe rest

Paramotor may also raise up to Rs 139.6 crore before the IPO, which would cut the fresh issue by the same amount.

What Paramotor Earns

Paramotor made a profit of Rs 59.1 crore on revenue of Rs 603.1 crore in the year to March 2026.

In the June 2026 quarter alone, Paramotor earned Rs 23.8 crore on revenue of Rs 252.7 crore. That single quarter is about 42% of the whole previous year’s revenue.

Both periods show a net margin of about 9 to 10%. For every Rs 100 of revenue, Paramotor keeps roughly Rs 10 as profit.

Paramotor Digital Technology was founded in 2016. It runs the gift-card site yayyy.shop, the prepaid-card platform SpendPro, the rewards tool RewardOn, and an enterprise software arm called DevStack.

Paramotor first filed confidentially in May and cleared SEBI’s review on August 25. Motilal Oswal Investment Advisors and Equirus Capital are managing the issue.

What this means for you: If you plan to apply to this IPO, remember the price band is not out yet. Watch the final prospectus for the valuation, the dates, and how much of the fresh money still funds customer acquisition.
