- Delhi released a compendium of 50+ MSME and startup schemes on September 26.
- A new Export Promotion Cell will help firms sell in Free Trade Agreement countries.
- Four policies are in play: Industrial, Startup, Export Promotion and the EoDB Bill 2026.
The Delhi government has released a single compendium listing more than 50 MSME and startup schemes for founders in the capital.
Industries Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa launched it on September 26 at Udyam Samvad 2026, a one-day event at Delhi Sachivalaya.
The book pulls together schemes from both the Central and Delhi governments. It covers finance, technology, market access, capacity building and business development.
Sirsa said the government wants to guide founders through the whole journey, from licences to finding buyers.
“Our objective is to create an ecosystem where an entrepreneur only needs to decide what they want to do, and the government supports them at every stage.”
Manjinder Singh Sirsa, Industries Minister, Delhi government. From his remarks at Udyam Samvad 2026, September 26, 2026.
The minister named four policies the government is using to help business. They are the New Industrial Policy, the New Startup Policy, the New Export Promotion Policy and the Delhi Ease of Doing Business Bill 2026.
A new Export Promotion Cell is being set up too. It will help firms sell in countries that have a Free Trade Agreement with India.
Sirsa said Delhi has given loan guarantees to small firms under the CGTMSE scheme. CGTMSE is the Central government’s Credit Guarantee Trust for Micro and Small Enterprises. The event also covered TReDS, a platform where small firms get their bills paid faster.
Women who run home-based businesses get a dedicated support team, the minister said, to help them register and go formal. Tenders have also been issued to fix roads in unauthorised industrial areas.
What this means for you: If you run an MSME or startup in Delhi, the compendium is now the one place to check which Central and Delhi scheme you qualify for. If you want to export, ask the Export Promotion Cell about Free Trade Agreement markets first.
