StartupFeed Quick Take
- Navya Nanda launched Naveli Ventures, the venture arm of the Nanda Family Office, on October 6, 2026.
- The firm will back startups in six areas: deeptech, space, clean energy, AI, advanced manufacturing and health.
- No fund size, cheque size or SEBI status was shared; the firm’s LLP was registered back in March 2023.
Navya Nanda has launched Naveli Ventures, the venture arm of her family office, to back startups in deeptech, space, AI and other frontier fields.
Navya Nanda, granddaughter of Amitabh Bachchan, made the announcement on October 6, 2026.
Naveli Ventures is the strategic arm of the Nanda Family Office, the group behind farm-equipment maker Escorts Kubota.
The firm is not brand new. Naveli Ventures LLP was registered in March 2023, with Navya Nanda and her brother Agastya Nanda as its two partners.
The October 6 announcement was mainly the formal unveiling of a strategy.
What Naveli Ventures Will Back
In her LinkedIn post, Navya Nanda said the firm would invest directly in startups. It would also use institutional funds, co-investments and academic or intellectual-property tie-ups.
Her pitch is broad. Naveli Ventures says it is drawn to problems, not to a single sector.
Navya Nanda put the approach this way:
“We define ourselves not by sector but by the scale of the problem”

No Fund Size, and a Crowded Field
One thing was missing: a number. Naveli Ventures did not share a fund size, a cheque range, or whether it is registered with SEBI, the markets regulator.
That gap matters because the field is busy.
The government announced Startup India Fund of Funds 2.0 in April 2026, setting aside Rs 10,000 crore, aimed partly at deeptech.
Private money is moving as well. The table below shows where Naveli Ventures sits.
| Fund | Size | Stage / date |
|---|---|---|
| Startup India Fund of Funds 2.0 | Rs 10,000 Cr | Government, April 2026 |
| IITM Unicorn Frontier Fund I | Rs 450 Cr (first close) | September 2026 |
| Bluehill.VC Frontier-Tech Fund | Rs 400 Cr | Final close, August 2026 |
| Capital-A Fund II | Rs 160 Cr (first close) | April 2026 |
| Naveli Ventures | Not disclosed | Launched October 2026 |
Naveli Ventures joins that list without a number of its own. Its first deals will show what it really means.
What this means for you: If you are a founder raising early capital in deeptech, space, clean energy, AI or advanced manufacturing, there is a new family-office backer in the market. Naveli Ventures has not named a cheque size, so watch its first deals to learn what it will actually write.
