DocPharma, a Bengaluru-based healthcare supply chain startup, has raised $2 Mn in a pre-Series A round led by Equentis. In rupees that is about Rs 19 crore.

Existing investor 100Unicorns joined the round. The angel network Vinners also took part, along with a group of strategic angel investors.

DocPharma is not an e-pharmacy that sells to shoppers. It runs the supply layer that other healthcare platforms plug into. Its network of licensed dark stores, software and a prescription-compliant process lets partners deliver in under 30 minutes.

Those partners include e-pharmacies, health insurers, corporate wellness providers, hospitals, nutraceutical brands and pet care firms. None of them has to build the supply chain itself.

The core product is DocPharma One. It combines warehouse management, inventory tracking, order management and fulfilment in one system. According to the startup, it routes each order to the nearest compliant store and handles prescription checks at quick-commerce speed.

The numbers show the scale so far. DocPharma operates across more than 12 cities. It has fulfilled over 8 lakh orders at a fulfilment rate above 95%. Each dark store carries more than 40,000 SKUs.

The fresh capital funds a bigger footprint. DocPharma plans to set up 100 new licensed dark stores. It also plans to grow from 12 cities to 50 cities across India. The startup was founded by Saquib Ali, Shashank Rai and Sagar Chauhan.

What this means for you: If you run a health or wellness platform, DocPharma is selling 30-minute medicine delivery as rented infrastructure, so you can offer it without building dark stores yourself.
