StartupFeed Quick Take
- A Shillong startup, Shamrock AI, raised a $5 Mn seed round led by Endiya Partners, with Capria Ventures.
- It is the 2026-founded firm’s first institutional round, worth about Rs 47.3 crore.
- The team plans to reach 15 Fortune 500 clients by end-2027, with 70-80% of staff in India.
Shamrock AI, an enterprise AI firm in Shillong, Meghalaya, announced a $5 Mn first seed round on October 14, led by Endiya Partners.
Capria Ventures also backed the round. The company statement calls it Shamrock AI’s first institutional funding.
What the Shillong Startup Builds
Shamrock AI builds an agentic assurance platform. It helps large enterprises run AI agents safely inside critical business processes, where one wrong step can cost real money.
At its core sits an Enterprise Business Knowledge Graph. This links a firm’s processes, systems, data and settings, so an AI agent has the context to act.
The first job is automated testing for large ERP upgrades, such as SAP S/4HANA migrations. ERP means enterprise resource planning.
Three founders started Shamrock AI in 2026: Sarat Addanki, Michael Gallagher and Anuraag Nallapati. Besides the Shillong base, it has offices in Hyderabad and San Francisco.
Co-founder Anuraag Nallapati, who leads product and strategy, put it this way:
“Shamrock AI is building the assurance layer that brings together processes, data and systems to give enterprises the confidence to adopt AI agents in production.”

Where the India Team and Money Go
Most work stays in India. About 70-80% of Shamrock AI’s staff will be based here, with core product built locally and client-facing teams in the US.
Several Fortune 500 clients already use Shamrock AI. Two are unnamed: a Fortune 100 AI hardware maker and a Fortune 100 healthcare firm.
By the end of 2027, Shamrock AI wants about 15 customers, all at Fortune 500 scale. Its yearly contracts start near $200K and can top $2 Mn. The cash will fund hiring, the product, sales, and a Middle East push.
What this means for you: If you build enterprise AI in India or track the Northeast’s startup scene, this is the region’s best-funded enterprise-AI bet yet. With 70-80% of its team set to stay in India, expect fresh hiring through 2027.
