Snapdeal’s parent AceVector has set a Rs 30 to Rs 32 price band for a Rs 420 crore IPO opening September 25, 2026.
The issue closes on September 29, with the anchor book a day earlier on September 24, and AceVector plans to list on October 5.
At the upper band, AceVector is worth about Rs 1,741 crore, or roughly $182 Mn. Snapdeal alone was valued at $6.5 Bn in 2016. In dollar terms that is under 3% of that peak.
The offer for sale is worth Rs 133 crore and covers 4.16 crore shares. AceVector cut it from 6.38 crore shares, a drop of about 35%.
Existing backers are selling in that offer for sale. They include SoftBank, Nexus Venture Partners and Foxconn. Founders Kunal Bahl and Rohit Bansal are not selling any shares.

Why is SoftBank selling only part of its stake?
SoftBank is AceVector’s largest shareholder, with a 30.1% stake. It is selling shares worth Rs 88 crore, and keeps Rs 382 crore worth at the upper band.
The Japanese investor put about $1 Bn into Snapdeal between 2014 and 2015. SoftBank wrote off that bet in 2017, after merger talks with Flipkart fell through. The company now sells through its affiliate, Starfish.
Where will the Rs 287 crore go?
Almost half of the fresh Rs 287 crore is set aside for marketing and promotion of Snapdeal, to lift the marketplace’s growth. The rest goes to technology, acquisitions and general corporate needs.
Snapdeal once ranked among India’s top e-commerce firms. It has since lost ground to Flipkart and Amazon.
How is AceVector’s business doing?
AceVector’s operating revenue rose about 29% to around Rs 510 crore in 2025-26. Its net loss narrowed to Rs 45 crore, from Rs 126 crore a year earlier, a 64% cut.
The group runs three businesses: Snapdeal, the SaaS firm Unicommerce and the house-of-brands firm Stellaro Brands. Snapdeal moved under the AceVector name in 2022.
Has Snapdeal tried to list before?
Yes. Snapdeal filed draft IPO papers in December 2021, with a fresh issue of Rs 1,250 crore. Snapdeal withdrew the papers in December 2022, blaming weak market conditions and a global tech sell-off.
Market sources had then pegged its value at $1.5 Bn to $1.7 Bn. Snapdeal began in 2010, founded by Kunal Bahl and Rohit Bansal.
When did AceVector file for the IPO?
AceVector filed confidentially for the IPO in July 2025, and won SEBI approval in November 2025. Unicommerce, its listed arm, went public in 2024 through a Rs 277 crore IPO. That issue was oversubscribed more than 168 times.
The IPO reserves 75% for institutional buyers, 15% for non-institutional investors and 10% for retail buyers. A retail bid for one lot of 468 shares needs about Rs 14,976 at the upper band.
What this means for you: The retail window runs September 25 to 29. One lot of 468 shares costs about Rs 14,976 at Rs 32 a share.
StartupFeed Insight
The pricing tells the real story. AceVector seeks about Rs 1,741 crore, under 3% of Snapdeal’s $6.5 Bn peak in dollar terms. SoftBank trimming its offer for sale by 35% reads as caution on demand, not confidence. The bet rests on the fresh Rs 287 crore, half of it aimed at Snapdeal marketing. Revenue up 29% and a 64% smaller loss help the pitch. Yet Snapdeal still trails Flipkart and Amazon by a wide margin. Watch the anchor book on September 24. Weak interest there would flag a soft retail response.
