Breaking New Ground in Aerial Robotics
EndureAir Systems Pvt. Ltd., an IIT Kanpur-incubated drone startup, has raised ₹25 crore in a fresh round led by IAN Alpha Fund along with the IAN Angel Fund. The company announced it will channel the funds into enterprise markets while also advancing next-generation high-altitude logistics and aerial robotics platforms.
This milestone marks a big step forward for India’s homegrown drone ecosystem, which is fast becoming a strategic pillar in national defence and industry innovation.

From IIT Classrooms to National Skies
The startup was founded in 2018 by Prof. Abhishek (Aerospace Engineering, IIT Kanpur) along with his students Rama Krishna and Chirag Jain. What began as a research project has evolved into drones capable of serving India’s most urgent needs—ranging from defence surveillance to disaster management and last-mile logistics.
Their journey shows how academic brilliance can be transformed into nation-building technology.
Building the Full Drone Stack
EndureAir is not just making drones—it is building the entire UAS (Unmanned Aerial Systems) stack. Its innovations span new airframe designs, autopilot systems, communication frameworks, ground monitoring stations, cooperative control tech, and computer vision algorithms.
By covering the full spectrum of drone technology, EndureAir positions itself as a comprehensive aerial robotics company rather than a niche drone manufacturer.
