Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Envisioned on a work-live-play model, the project is designed as a future-ready city.
A Second Business Hub for Bengaluru
Located around 30 km from Bengaluru, the township will serve as the city’s second central business district (CBD). More than 2,000 acres are earmarked for AI-based industries and supporting units, strengthening Karnataka’s role as a hub for next-generation technologies.
Connectivity and Infrastructure
The township will feature a 300-metre-wide business corridor connected to STRR, NH-209, NH-275, and NICE Road, ensuring strong industrial and residential access. With ring roads, expressways, and walk-to-work infrastructure, the project also aims to ease Bengaluru’s traffic congestion.
Jobs, Skills, and Local Impact
The state government expects the project to attract multinational corporations, startups, and global investors, while creating lakhs of jobs in IT, AI, and related services. Shivakumar highlighted a local-first hiring policy, supported by dedicated skilling centres to prepare Karnataka’s youth for AI-driven industries.
With the Bidadi AI township, Karnataka is betting on a new economic hub that blends technology, business, and lifestyle, while preparing its workforce for the AI revolution.
