A Grand Kick-Off For Startup Conclave 2025
Union Home Minister Amit Shah today inaugurated the much-anticipated Startup Conclave 2025 at Mahatma Mandir, Gandhinagar. The two-day mega event, hosted by Gujarat’s State Education Department, aims to spotlight India’s growing entrepreneurial spirit while connecting founders with investors and mentors.
The scale is massive: 1,000+ startups, 5,000 innovators, 100 mentors, and 50+ venture funds have come together, making it one of the country’s largest startup gatherings this year.
Innovation From Across India On Display
The conclave isn’t limited to Gujarat alone — it features 170+ startups from 20 states, including ventures backed by Startup India, MeitY, and Defence Innovation programs.
From deeptech and agritech to fintech and defence tech, the event is a showcase of the diverse startup talent shaping India’s innovation economy. Founders not only get the opportunity to pitch and demo but also to interact directly with investors and policymakers driving the national startup agenda.
Big Moves: MoUs, Funding Cheques & Partnerships
A key highlight of the conclave is the signing of 50 MoUs between startups, investors, and financial institutions. The Gujarat government has also announced the distribution of funding cheques and Letters of Intent (LoIs) to selected ventures — providing direct access to growth capital.
By combining capital access, mentorship networks, and government backing, the conclave is positioning Gujarat as a serious contender in India’s startup map, while amplifying India’s ambition to become a global innovation hub.
